International Professional Development Application

GUIDELINES FOR THE ASR AFRICA INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR INTERNS AND VOLUNTEERS

1. Online Applications will be submitted on the ASR Africa website.
2. Online Applications for the September to December 2026 Edition will commence from 7th September to 14th September, 2026.
3. Only 5 shortlisted applicants will be contacted for the program.
4. The duration of the volunteer program will be 3 months, from September 2026 to December, 2026. Please note that poor-performing volunteers or interns will be dropped along the way.
5. All interns must show their expectation analysis at the point of registration and how that translates into their future ambition
6. Beneficiaries of the program will enjoy job rotation across all the departments. This will be guided by clearly defined schedules and curriculum. Specialists will take them on specific topics within the period.
7. At the end of the program, all interns/volunteers must be able to identify a grant application and apply for it
8. All interns will need to make PowerPoint presentations of their assignments at the end of every week.
9. The 3 months Professional Development program will take place in ASR Africa office in Abuja, Nigeria.
10. Successful Candidates must have a secured accommodation for the said period. A monthly Transport allowance will be payable to each of the interns.
