Our initiative came to life in a year marked by global tragedy - 2020, a year that saw the world grapple with a devastating pandemic. This crisis underscored the urgent need for concerted efforts to address the multifaceted challenges facing our world, especially in education, healthcare, and social development. Inspired by this need, the Abdul Samad Rabiu Initiative was launched to make a difference.
To kickstart our mission, we have committed NGN1 billion in grants to six universities across Nigeria's geopolitical zones, aimed at upgrading and initiating essential infrastructure. This is just the beginning.
Our plans include extending our support further across Africa, with USD$50 million earmarked for impactful projects throughout the continent.
