Call for Mentors: Shaping the Future of Africa’s Young Leaders
Are you an accomplished professional or a distinguished leader passionate about empowering the next generation?
The Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa) invites you to join our Mentorship Program—a transformative initiative dedicated to unlocking the potential of young African women in career, entrepreneurship, and personal development.
About the Program
Birthed from a vision shared at the UN Women Convention on the Status of Women (CSW), our mentorship series addresses the underrepresentation of women in STEM and leadership across Africa. We provide structured guidance to final-year tertiary students to help them navigate the transition from university to professional life with clarity and confidence.
Why Become an ASR Africa Mentor?
As an ASR Africa mentor, you will serve as a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change. This is an opportunity to:
Give Back: Share your lived experiences and practical tools for personal growth.
Inspire Innovation: Help mentees develop critical skills in career planning, financial literacy, and purpose-driven leadership.
Drive Global Impact: Contribute directly to UN SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and the socio-economic development of the continent.
