The Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa) has won the 2024 Social Impact & Sustainability Awards (SISA) award as the NGO of the Year during the 2024 CSR Reporters Award which took place on November 24th, 2024 in Lagos, Nigeria. ASR Africa was honored for it’s outstanding contributions to community development and impactful initiatives that drive positive social change in Nigeria and across Africa.
The Founder/Executive Chairman of BUA Group/ASR Africa, Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu CFR, CON also won the Lifetime Achievement Award in Philanthropy with BUA Group winning the CSR Award for Poverty Alleviation and CSR Award for Community Empowerment and Development.
The Managing Director/CEO of ASR Africa, Dr. Ubon Udoh who was present at the ceremony also bagged the CEO of the Year Award.
